Qufora acquires UK medical appliance supplier

On 29th August 2025, Qufora Ltd, a subsidiary of the Danish medtech company Qufora, acquired Rapidcare (The Koppa Company Limited), a UK Dispensing Appliance Contractor (DAC).
Qufora is a manufacturer and supplier of medical devices dedicated to enabling people with chronic bowel disorders to live a more fulfilled life, and this acquisition marks a significant next step in Qufora’s continued growth momentum and long-term strategic investments in the British healthcare market.
Rapidcare is a contractor licensed by the UK’s National Health Service, specialising in the fulfilment of prescriptions for medical devices and related services issued by GPs and specialist prescribers, with a strong reputation for reliable home delivery to patients in the community supporting a wide range of chronic healthcare needs.
Qufora and Rapidcare have enjoyed a strong strategic partnership for many years with Rapidcare providing the Qufora Direct service which enables patients to receive optimal service through the delivery of Qufora bowel management products as well as a broad range of educational and training offerings aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction.
