Cauda Equina syndrome

Cauda equina syndrome is a condition that affects the nerves at the base of your spine. It can cause symptoms like back pain, changes in sensation in your legs, or changes in bladder and bowel habits. These symptoms don’t always mean you have cauda equina syndrome, but it’s important to get checked promptly to be sure. If you notice any of these changes, contact a healthcare professional as soon as possible for advice.

Also there is a great app from Cauda Equina charity, which has so much info in it and it is free.
