Annual report 2025: Strong growth with people at the centre

Allerød, Denmark, 1st June 2026

Qufora’s values-driven approach to patient-centred service, product development and market access helped tens of thousands of new patients in 2025, while also increasing the company’s overall revenue and profit.

The Danish medtech company Qufora aims to help people living with chronic bowel conditions to enjoy a better quality of life. The company is represented in multiple European markets and has received international recognition for its award-winning product design.

In 2025, Qufora reported revenue of DKK 331.4 million, representing growth of 36% compared with the previous year – and 18% excluding the effect of the acquisition of the British company Rapidcare. Adjusted for one-off income, the company achieved EBITDA of DKK 86.4 million, representing a margin of 26%. The acquisition of Rapidcare also contributed to the company’s growth in headcount from 102 to 175 employees during 2025.

Qufora’s financial performance goes hand in hand with positive patient impact

2025 is a year we can all be proud of. We not only met our strategic targets but exceeded them while at the same time our products and services are making an increasing difference to patients and healthcare systems. In this way, our strong financial performance is a natural consequence of succeeding in the mission we are pursuing
Says CEO, Lena Ehmsen Lachenmeier.

The profitable growth enables Qufora to invest further in product development and international expansion. At the same time, the company has strengthened its organisation, logistics and processes in response to growing demands from partners and stakeholders. Today, Qufora has subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden.

Market expansion, ESG initiatives and important research

Qufora, the market leader in the UK bowel care market, acquired the British company Rapidcare in 2025, a licensed UK Dispensing Appliance Contractor specialising in the fulfilment of prescriptions for medical devices and related services. The acquisition has brought Qufora even closer to patients and created a strong foundation for further collaboration with commercial partners, distributors and home care suppliers.

“The shareholders are very pleased with this year’s strong results. With a growing organisation, a stronger market position and a significant untapped potential, Qufora is well positioned to continue its growth journey and support even more patients in the years ahead,” says Chairman of the Board, Mikael Worning.

Qufora also takes responsibility within the industry by supporting important research that can contribute new knowledge and strengthen clinical practice. As part of this commitment, Qufora funded a study at Regional Hospital Gødstrup, Denmark, in 2025 documenting the effect of bowel irrigation in combination with oral laxatives for the treatment of children with constipation and faecal incontinence.

Over the coming years, Qufora will continue its ESG initiatives with a focus on sustainability, patient involvement and close collaboration with healthcare professionals.
