Qufora is a design-focused medical device company. We enable people with chronic bowel disorders to live a more fulfilled life. By breaking the limits of conventional thinking, we develop solutions to improve the health of people and protect our planet for future generations. Our solutions set new standards and make toilet routines as effortless and natural as possible.
Located in Denmark, north of Copenhagen in Allerød, we employ around 190 people. We have 5 subsidiaries and we are represented in 16 distributor markets.
Qufora is more than a business. Ours is a personal story.
Niels Balle and six companions founded Qufora in 2006. With a spinal cord injury and living with bowel problems himself, Niels believed in the power of design to improve products and services that advance healthcare for users and healthcare providers.
Our company was founded in Denmark in 2006 and has been awarded one of the fastest growing companies in Denmark eight times since then.
Innovation
At Qufora, we are dedicated to developing solutions to enable people with chronic bowel disorders to live a better life. We embrace the responsibility of turning research ideas into a product that makes a real difference. Innovation starts with dialogue, and we collaborate closely with users and healthcare professionals at every stage of development. From concept to solutions that become a natural part of everyday life, we design with the user at the centre. And we keep challenging ourselves, so people get better and better products to live the life they want.

Quality & regulatory affairs
Quality is at the centre of everything that we do. We have established structures in place to ensure adherence to relevant regulatory and statutory requirements. This ensures that our medical devices are reliable, safe and effective throughout their lifecycle.
Supply & operations
Working in a highly regulated environment motivates us to constantly think strategically about our systems and processes. We work collaboratively with our suppliers to ensure that sustainability is integrated into our business.

2025 marks the eight time that Qufora’s growth has been recognised with the Børsen Gazelle award.
Børsen Gazelle is a Danish business award presented to companies that have achieved continuous growth in revenue or gross profit for the last four financial years, and which have more than doubled the revenue or gross profit in that period.
