Head of Strategy

Analysis, process management, scheduling and reporting

The responsibilities of this role cover analysis, process management, scheduling and reporting to the CEO and CFO. The ideal candidate will assist the executive management team in strategy development and implementation.

Based at the company’s head office in Allerød, 30 minutes from Copenhagen. The tone is open, informal, direct and respectful of each other. The working environment is characterized as good, fast and with a high degree of freedom with responsibility as well.

Overall responsibilities and tasks:
  • Preparation of strategic analyses and high-quality presentations to senior management and board meetings and assist with calculations/templates/models
  • Drive and execute strategy development and processes in a Project Management Office format, including organizing and conducting workshops across the organization
  • Ensure ownership, anchoring and structure in relation to processes with relevant stakeholders for efficient execution
  • Planning and execution of acquisitions (M&A), including preparing relevant analysis, presentations and business cases 
As a process owner on the annual cycle, this person, in close cooperation with the executive management team and department managers, will lead and implement processes and projects across the organization to achieve its strategy, plans, budgets, etc.
The Candidate:
The position requires a candidate with a solid business understanding, who can drive cross-organizational processes and projects within diverse areas and takes ownership of the company’s strategic development and implementation of initiatives. The person is analytically strong and has experience with strategy development and M&A as well as preparation of presentations at executive management level.
 
Characteristics of the ideal candidate:
  • Analytical, logical and systematic approach to problem solving
  • Experience in running larger, complex processes – including facilitation of workshops etc.
  • Experience in preparing decision papers and communicating key messages regarding these
  • Natural understanding of business cultures and ability to further develop established processes

The ideal candidate has 2-7 years of experience from M&A, business development, management consulting or similar and sees this position as an opportunity to make use of his/her relevant experience with strategy development, acquisitions, process ownership and management sparring to influence the company’s strategic development, and as a unique opportunity to work towards a potential executive position.
