Facebook privacy policy

Qufora is subject to Danish GDPR-law.

1. Privacy policy for use of Facebook

Applicable for Qufora A/S’s processing of personal data that you as visitor and/or customer leave and/or provide when visiting Qufora’s Facebook page (“the Facebook page”) or other social media pages owned by Facebook Ireland Ltd. (“Facebook”), such as Messenger, Instagram, Oculus and WhatsApp. Qufora A/S is subject to Danish law.

This personal data policy supplements Facebook’s general personal data policy (Facebook Insights), cookie policy, data policy, addendum regarding data transfer for Europe and approved sub-processors and has been updated as of October 18th, 2021.

The Privacy Policy applies to Qufora A/S’s processing of personal data about you as customer and/or visitor (the data subject) on Qufora A/S’s social media pages owned by Facebook. Qufora A/S and Facebook are joint data controllers for the processing of the data subjects’ personal data on those pages.

Qufora A/S complies with the Danish Data Protection Agency’s guidelines regarding joint data responsibility, and, with the applicable tools, attempts to best ensure that you as a data subject receive information about the processing of your personal data (personal data) when visiting our Facebook page.

2. Facebook Insights and Cookie Policy

Depending on your activities on our Facebook page, the following personal data about you is processed:

  • “likes” or when using other reactions on the Facebook page
  • Comments left on posts or similar on the Facebook page
  • Comments in the chat function on the Facebook page
  • Visits to the Facebook page

Facebook Insights provides an overview of the collection of personal data for statistical information about visitors’ activities on the page, including age, gender, relationship status, work, areas of interest, lifestyle, information about purchases and geographical information – whereby Facebook places cookies on your device for this purpose when visiting our Facebook page. Each cookie contains a unique identification code that remains active for a period of 2 years, unless it is deleted before the end of the period. Facebook receives, stores, and processes your personal data by using cookies.

3. Processing of personal data, purpose, and legal basis for processing

Qufora processes your personal data in order to improve its products and to carry out surveys, prepare statistics, and develop our services and products based on your feedback about them.

In this regard, Qufora uses aggregated information that Facebook makes available through the use of Facebook-cookies, whereby information such as age, gender, relationship status, work, areas of interest, lifestyle, and geographical information is collected.

Qufora processes your personal data as a result of its legitimate interest in being able to improve its products and services, cf. Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Facebook processes your personal data in order to improve its advertising system, as well as provide Qufora with statistics that are prepared based on your visit to Qufora’s Facebook page, in order to advertise and customize the activities on that page.

Facebook uses your personal data in accordance with actively given consent, Art. 6, stk. 1, litra f.

Your personal data is also processed in accordance with actively given consent, cf. Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation that can always be withdrawn through the settings on Facebook.

4. Disclosure of personal data

Qufora will not at any time disclose your personal data to companies other than those listed.

Facebook may, among other things, share personal data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Internally among the Facebook companies
  • Externally with Facebook’s partners who use analytical services
  • Advertisers
  • Other people who use the Facebook page
  • Business partners
  • Researchers and academics

If your personal data is transferred to Facebook in the United States, this will take place according to the standards of European data protection legislation applicable at any time and stated under the section How do we process and move data as part of our global services? in their Data Policy. 5. Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights as a data subject:

Gain access to the personal data that both Qufora and Facebook process about you; however, with certain statutory exceptions

  • The right to object to the collection and further processing of your personal data
  • The right to have your personal data corrected, deleted or blocked
  • In some cases, the right to restrict the processing of your personal data
  • The right to receive personal data about yourself, and in some cases to transfer personal data that you have provided to us, to another data controller (data portability)
  • The right to correct and/or delete the information we collect about you by going to the Facebook settings and Instagram settings.

6. Changes to the privacy policy

Qufora reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy for the use of Facebook due to significant changes in legislation or as a result of changes in our processing activities.

 
7. Links and references to other websites, etc.

Although our Facebook page contains links and/or references to other websites, we are not responsible for the content on these (third party websites) or for the procedures these third parties have for the collection and processing of your personal data. We therefore recommend that you always read their guidelines for the processing of your personal data, when visiting a third party’s website.

 
8. Contact

The agreements that Qufora has made with Facebook require you to contact Facebook if you wish to exercise your rights in connection with their services, as it is only Facebook that is functionally able to take the necessary measures to comply with most of your requests.
